When I was on Verizon, I could drive from Silicon Valley down to LA and not get dropped once.
Now that I'm on AT&T, on my 40 mile drive home on the 101 from downtown LA to the West Valley, I regularly get dropped 2 to 3 times - usually at the Lankershim and Winnetka exits.

Except Verizon does that too!!!!
We just switched from Verizon to AT&T, I've had more dropped calls in the last two weeks than in six years with Verizon ( probably 1% of my AT&T calls get dropped, so not that bad )...Never had a smartphone with Verizon though, and now on AT&T I use a Nokia E71x ( great phone ), but maybe that's why calls are dropping?

Maybe you're really bad, or playing on a bad TV (too small or low res?). I played on hardened, and the most I had to replay a section was WMD, a part near the end of the game where you have a crossbow. You get an achievement for taking out all guards silently, so I had to restart to keep trying.

if you publish an unchecked story about the iPhone being delayed, causing a run on Apple's stock price...

Besides I don't think there is anything AMD can offer Apple right now. The Core archiecture has proven to be faster than the Athlon Opteron one...

well only 1 465 gtx. the other was just another 9800 GT. but when i run 3 of them in the same computer, one of them overheats - to 104C! but if i take one out, then it runs fine

Would love a larger screen if they can maintain the same body size. I have no interest in something like the giant PDA-sized Android phones.
Maybe the phone is smaller and it makes it look like the screen is bigger, food for thought!

They won't make Lion "uninstallable" on it. But it might be "unbearable" for all but the most casual of users. ;)
On a side note, I've noticed there's now a "Show downloads" button to the left of the Search Field:

Hmm, a lot of new white UI elements(this and Quick Look). I wouldn't be surprised if Apple started offering Macs with a white bezel option.

Also, you have to understand where some of these people are coming from. Maybe not Kanye personally, but I could understand why kids growing up in the American ghetto might feel a bit of animosity towards the police they way they are treated and all (not all police are crooked, of course.)

oh really? thats frustrating!! what soft of temps do they sit at? are you sure you have cranked enough voltage into them?
the temps haven't been that high (70C or under). i have changed the voltages, but maybe not enough. that's one of those things you have to play with.
but it looks like 2 of my rigs are down now. i might be driving back to fix them tomorrow night i guess. i'll put both of them back to 3.5 ghz and hopefully they'll stay stable.
my asus has been rock solid compared to the other 2 though. staying at 3.5-3.6 ghz

This is what I "love" about MacRumors, it's the only Apple fansite where Apple fans, rightly proud of their products, can log on and be TOLD what their opinions should be by rabid fans of other devices, who in turn use the fanboy card to back up their point of view, therefore rendering any reply by an Apple user pointless.
The Android fans are as bad, if not in fact worse, than the iPhone fans on here. The very notion you come to an Apple site to stress your point of view and borderline enforce it to the point of it being accepted as fact, proves as much.
I'm all for people loving their apple products. I love my iPhone too. But unlike some of these apple fans, I don't consider my iPhone to be the holy grail of smartphones.
