Can anyone tell me why the Apple TV is not shown in the buyers guide section? It should be in there!

just took a look, and these guys have an interesting story about Apple ceasing to use Rendezvous as a brand. I didn't see that on MacRumors, so I might check out Cafe Macs every now and then. Every other site I've seen has had redundant news, but this caught me by surprise.

I checked online, and it says you need FamilyTalk 1400 2100 plans for A-List. Guess it's not updated yet?
Called again. I did this change in the store. Rep said when you go from 1400 min to 700 min system will automatically disable a list.

japan now selling external Bluray RW drive for.....$1000....
so, if MacPro have BTO option for this...
we got to pay around $5000 for the fastest Mac, right?
its terrible...
i hope apple will release a nice external drive...though, insofar the only external optical drive from apple can trace back to the age of CD-Rom...Even better, the blank media are only $50 each. How economical. I can buy one 25GB Blue-ray blank for $50 or two-hundred seventy eight 4.3 GB SL DVD-R blanks = 1194 GB of space or 1.2 Terrabytes for the same $50. Blu-ray wins hands down.
I love new technology. And spending tons more for it is the best.

I was just fooling around with GarageBand, and whipped up these 4 songs. 2 of them I've used in games I've created.
Battle (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Battle.mp3)
Battle 2 (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Battle_2.mp3)
Polyphonizer (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Polyphonizer.mp3)
Testing (http://www.worldwizard.net/songs/Testing.mp3)
Of the 4, Polyphonizer is my favorite. It got its name from the fact that it relies on mass polyphony to keep listeners' interest.

Hi there,
I have the new mbp with the 128 gb ssd and thus very limited space. I'd like to install some apps from the app store on a seperate, external hdd (for example games, which I rarely play but don't want to delete).
How is this possible?

"Just wait for the Verizon iPhone 4 numbers!"
"Just wait for the White iPhone 4 numbers!"
"Just wait for the iPhone 4S numbers!"
"Just wait for the iPhone 5 numbers!"
I'm starting to see a pattern.
Name 1 Android device with sales figures like the iPhone 4.
Apple...
You are/were 1 to 2 years late with putting out this Verizon iPhone.
Android has gained adoption...
Don't worry, you will be fine in the long run - a Verizon LTE iPhone 6 will get your sales kicked in within the Verizon market. I know I will be going back to an iPhone when it happens.
Keep in mind Apple approached VZW first, and when they were turned down, Apple then went to Cingular(Now AT&T).

I am folding in windows with my gpu for the next week or so, or until twoodcc gets back, then I'll go back to os x. We will have crazy ppd (for us anyway :P) when he returns!! As least jav6454 is back now. :)
If all goes to plan, I will be building an Ivy Bridge computer when the chip comes out. But who knows when that is actually going to happen.
Ivy Bridge ain't got nothing on Bloomfield! :D:D:eek:
*sobs to death at realization of Ivy Bridge outdating Bloomfield*:o:(
At any rate, once twoodcc gets back I'll put in my remaining 5850 at -bigadv units at maximum clocks.

No offence, but if you have two simultaneous positions which are in conflict, you need to make a choice. :)
Again I have one position my position is that voluntarily using violence if another option is available (and they're is almost always another option available) is wrong. Always.
I just get annoyed that American's are willing to define other nations military engagements as "illegal". But everything we do is legal just bla bla bla etc.
Claiming that torture is ok because a few terrorist killed 3000 American's must by logical extension mean that it's ok to torture Americans since we have since killed hundreds of thousands of others (most of them quite innocent of any crime).
I'm tired of double standards.

I also thought it was a great Keynote, but Steve could have at least mentioned the new Airport Extreme stations and talked a little more about Macs.

LOL, so it's both ok either way and wrong either way? No offense but I think you've reduced your position to one that doesn't really mean anything
No offence but I think your failing to see the disconnect between my personal position and my historical/political observations.

I use TunesArt (http://www.jibapps.com/products/tunesart/). It's an iTunes plugin that lets you know what song is currently playing and can fetch up lyrics automatically. It can do a lot more too.
Awesome! Thanks.
