For some reason I remember this Venkat80 got his GC approved. If he is the same guy and playing with our emotions then this guy must be banned right away from IV. Otherwise I am sorry..

This is also what I have understood on doing some research; there also was a similar thread here "H1 Status After Using EAD" where people seem to say the same.
That is, once you start using EAD you loose your H1 status. If you want to get back on H1 (before the decision on 485) then your company has to extend your H1 in which case you will have to give up your part time job.
Things get bad if your 485 is denied while you are on EAD then your company may be able to extend your H1, but you will have to go out of country and return once the H1 extension is approved.
There was a thread on IP some time ago on this.
One of the rules of H1 is you should be working fulltime ( if your LCA says so) so you still need to fulfill those requirements. While as far as EAD is concerned you can use AC21 only if you have worked for the employer with whom you filed your GC for atleast 180 days right? So how would you be on H1 and work for one employer and then also work on EAD for another employer at same time?
The interpretation is probably only for the status validity as far as i can think.. You can be in both the statuses at any given time but use only one status for your work. Also i read in one of the bulletins/posts that at the POE the IO will always look to see if your underlying H1 has valid period and if you have a stamp and then use that one over the AP to allow you in to the country.
Please check with proper source before you embark on this path to avoid any future problems

If you are running out of time to save Candian PR under 3 years out of country stay rule, then only we have to think this canda stay.
If you can stay here and still save candian PR for this 1.5 years, just get into the system and try out here in US. That is the best bet rather than not trying at all.
Who knows you may get Labor/I140 in this 1.5 years and may get everything well.
DOL procedures - We really do not know how serious that **Supervised Recruit** is, unless it is experienced by people.
If you loose candian PR in 6 months or so, unless you land there, then we have to think about it.

Would it be of benefit, if USCIS sends us a notice when our petition is "Pre-adjudicated; awaiting visa number"? So, we can at least be in peace and go on with our life?
It is a bad idea. It will allow people to misuse it. Once they are pre-approved they may not care about staying in status. They will not change jobs in their area of work. You may find an engineer doing some other profession. How will something like this help USA. We should stop seeing everything from - How it will help me. See how it will help USA to make good suggestions USCIS will listen.

I am also in the same situation and I asked my attorney. He said that if we can get notarized affidavits from Parents then it is sufficient. So get the format from your attorney and get it signed by your parents. They need at least 2 affidavits who were present at the time of the birth.

I have done it once. It all depends on your relationship with your current employer. If they are ok with it, you shouldnt have any problems.

I think was just in anxiety !!!. My wife recieved FP notice around 5 days after I recieved. We both have appointment on same day and same time.
So bottom line even though it is frustrating , I think the best solution is to just wait :)

No bill was introduced in Senate. Where is the question of voting? If anti immigrants some how make waste these 2 weeks of time in Senate then there will not be enough time to discuss. Now 60% chance. If no bill is introduced in Senate before end of may it will come down to 40%.

Thats not the case. USCIS will revoke employment based AOS since mariage based AOS has higher priority. So the process would be, they would call for a normal interview and then hand you a paper that

Its just because you were in this country legally for a long time they will go through all the required paper work. IT MEANS DELAY in processing or may be RFE to get more details.

If by that time your EB 485 is not approved, you can still file FB 485, whichever comes first take it. You can file both in parallel. Its only a question of few thousand dollars. quick update: I received the receipt notices today for EAD Renewal by mail. can't believe it, but truly received for myself and my wife.
Big question is
1.Mine is having case number as LIN08801XXXXX which is fine, because my entire GC process since past 5 years is in Nebraska Service Center. I'm the primary applicant
2.But wife's case number is different, which is NSC08801XXXXX and clearly mentioned in the notice that her case is with national benefits center, Lee's summit MO.( By the way we live in Missouri)
The entries for "Class requested" is shown as C09 in both cases, which i believe correct.
Help:
Has anybody received like this before? if it's normal, i'm not worried
If not, any clues about next steps like do i need to call somebody or call Nebraska ??? a bit worried. any help ???????
