Actually they are very loose regarding cameras and fans. Can't say I've seen any L's on fans. I have seen fans with 10D's however.

I have a question though. If your new Job duties are 50% different then won't it affect your pending i485 application as AC21 requires new job to be same or similar to keep I485 valid? Also, Any new job will be similar and wondering if switching to a different company will help in this case? Will they be able to file a new EB2 PERM LC for me or will i get same response that i got from present company?

I believe in IV and its efforts.
I understand rally will help IV to demonstrate the people support.
I understand, in rally and after rally IV requests/lobbys law-makers to fix the broken immigration system system.
But can someone clarify me, what exactly IV is requesting law-makers?
1) Are we asking to re-capture visa numbers? (150K may not be sufficient for 750K applicants)
2) Remove country limit (still have to 5 years)
3) Increase the EB quota?
4) Clear all current pending Backlog labor/I-140/I-485/etc applications by 2009? This is temporary solution, but will solve the problem for now.
5) Another Immigration Reform bill for legal?
Having clear answers will help to gain support from my friends, colleagues and more and more people will be willing to join.

All the above answers are favor to the employer and not to us (employee).
Can any of you help by posting some ideas (for changing the employer before 180 with the approved i140 and EAD cards) in favor of the employee bcz i am really very sad about my situation. plz help brothers !!

I paper filed at TSC on Dec16th got approval on Jan11th, the pace is pretty good considering the holidays in between.

Do not worry I was in similar situation last year and my ex employer was from NJ.. I Complained to DOL and they made him to pay me...

Sick & tired of this VSC processing time frames, I hope they know what they are doing?
Applied for my H1/H4 (8th year) extension on October 22, 2007 and no approval as of today..not sure how long its going to take in order to approve these H1/H4 extension....my last approved H1 will expire in March 1st week of 2008. (still waiting for 140 approval at TSC).. Drama part-2 starts when ever 140 gets approved and applying for another extension .. oh lord!!
Not sure if VSC is trying to meet processing time frames for these visa extension applications with applicants Date of Birth....:D (I am sure that's what they are trying to do with cases filed in EB2 for 140/485)
oh god!! please give us energy & patience to deal with this processing centers!!

@sduddukuri - Can you share why H4 was denied in the first place? I am in a similar situation and wondering if MTR or Travel abroad would be better.

This is news to me also. Once my current H1 expires I'm also planning to work on EAD and change to H4. One attorney adviced me to do that so that in case something happens to our I-485, I'll be on H4 and be still on status in this country to appeal for an MTR.
Another attorney told me to just work on EAD, no need to file H4 but I can if that will give me a peace of mind.
But what this attorney described here make sense too. If working on EAD invalidates H1, it should invalidate H4 also. But then again like the OP said I have known people who were on H4 and started working when they got EAD and extended their H4.
Is it different in case its the beneficiary of the I485 thats moving to H4?

Unless your parents have SSN, you can't really claim exemption. The other way you could claim exemption is, if they visitied for business reasons - such as running your motel, shop or business. For that, you'd need the B1 visa. Medical expenses are not really covered for them as far as I know (I used an insurance company for that).
Do post any further updates if you do get them. I did talk to a CPA since they came here to help me with my house and moving and painting and all that headache that comes once you buy a house. He did not file for exemptions as such. You can however claim exemptions if you had gone to India for visa stamping (flight tickets, charges etc are exempted).
