And I can get a knife or fork at one of dozens of restaurants inside the terminal post security. What's your point?
Was that a pun?
Also, I'm sure that his intention was to let you know what a badass he is, because he can badassify innocuous silverware. He can probably also make a bomb out of a stick of butter. And artillery shells from a bag of oranges. Just don't mess with him, is what I'm trying to get at, here.
Also, remember that scene in 24 (http://www.24-fansite.com/), when Nina killed a guy on a plane with a plastic gift card? That's exactly why women should be banned from air travel. Until that day comes, I for one am glad that we have forward-thinking TSA agents frisking little girls like the future terrorists that they are. God bless them.

does anyone think that the discounts will be able to be used in conjunction with educational discounts? if so that'd be great...if not...then i guess you still save an additional 50 bucks? that'd be ok!

Though i wanted a 4" screen, a 3.7" screen is a great compromise. I like the fact that it fits the current form factor.
BTW those images look like cheesy photoshop mock-ups

Actually, you said:
Sorry, but that's the same at laughing at the people, ie, a form of being "Holier than thou." After all, what did your post add to this discussion except to say that you think you're above the comments being posted.
Nice try at excusing yourself though, "buddy".
If that makes you feel better I'm fine with you calling me holier than thou :D. Feel free to continue bashing the OP. I get a good laugh.

I have lived in 4 different rural markets and regularly travel between them. Currently, in NC, Verizon is everywhere since they bought out a couple providers like Rural Cellular and I forget the other one.
When I left Verizon, they had full bar 3G coverage at my house. They had just upgraded about 3 months before I went with an iPhone. With AT&T, I need to drive almost 20 miles to even find 3G coverage.
With Verizon, I had a Palm Treo 700 and it was very rare to see even the analog signal at all.
If Apple would make the iPhone for Verizon, i'd switch back in a blink, even if I had to pay early termination, it's that bad. I typically lose between 20-40% of my calls. There is several dead zones too, that I can't even drive down without losing it.

The bill and its proposed draconian penalties is just ridiculous.
On the other hand, Dr. Choi should tend to the physical and mental well-being of his patients, and stop trying to play safety nanny. Sorry, but I find his arguments unconvincing, and if a busybody doctor starting quizzing me about safety practices around my home, I'd tell him to F off.

^^ Yup, in the E30! That's why I bought it after all: a cheap(er) easy to fix car that is predictable and balanced at its limit, even though that is relatively low compared to more modern suspension.
Oh darn, no preregister for you? If that didn't happen here, we'd have much too full of a day and less than 14 runs that we usually get. What are you going to bring to your event? Your 325Ci again? I LOVE the E46s....
Just curious though, can you go unstaggered wheel setup with the same size stock rears in the front? That's the only thing I don't care for on the E46.

Overthrow of the government?
 i suppose that's the only definition for revolutionary for you? if so, what do you see in iPhone that's revolutionary?
And only 200 new patents.
is there anything other than the fact there's "200 new patents" (where did you get this anyway?) that you find revolutionary about iPhone?
Apple is not a religion, Steve Jobs is not God.
i'm outa this thread.

Fees for the data for that one device. But please don't start a "tethering is awesome v. tethering is against the rules" war here, there's plenty of other threads for that.
I'm not starting any war. I just think that their data fees should be set to cover the bandwidth usage. Who cares how many devices are used? Shouldn't the bytes count? To the operator it's just a stream of bytes. A stream of bytes that intensifies if you use more bandwidth, so the bandwidth used should be covered, not the devices.

I think this would be a better way to do it. Perhaps it could be called the "Thank you" or "Helpful" button.

I think there will be a change in computing
So you mean computing won't be "Input, Process, Output, Storage" but something else ?
No, there will be no change in computing. It's already general and basic enough to cover all the bases.
and tablets are the future of it. I do think servers/ power machines will remain, but I can see them becoming specialised (such as in power stations etc). I can see Linux filling that whole perfectly. I do feel that tablets/ touch based computers are the future, but I think they need voice recognition software to truly come into play for text input. If the iPad had a killer voice recognition software, then MS Word for iPad might truly become a game changer. As good as any touchscreen is, typing 2,000 words on a touchscreen would be a bit of a push.
You failed to see any of my points. Tablets are not some kind of "future change to computers!", tablets are very much computing devices utilizing the same concepts and ideas that have been the very core of the industry for the last 50 years.
Touch based computer ? It's still input and input is just that, input. It doesn't matter whether is touch, keyboards, mice, network, voice, biometrics. Input is input.
A lot of you people want to see a massive change where frankly there isn't any. A new type of device doesn't somehow make everything different. It can just be a "new type of device", something the computer industry of the last 50 years has seen plenty of.
Read my post again carefully, you'll see that I already addressed all your points. Don't just respond to me without even understanding what I'm talking about and at least trying to counteract my points if you're going to try to contradict me.

Thats a loaded demand since you already agreed with my later statement that they need to learn how to vet online sources like they do print sources. I can list off any number of magazines or whatnot that would do such things if given the chance, though. It isn't like gizmodo invented pranking, guys.
If given a chance? What does that mean?
You think if Wired had done this they wouldn't have been banned?

On the other hand, this could be a false rumor slipped by the competition to hurt Christmas time sales of the iPhone 4.
Could be lots of things.
Could be a false rumor to hurt Christmas sales of Android and WP7 phones.
Or a bit of false info used internally by Apple to ferret out leaks.
Most likely though, it's just a rumor to gain attention :)

The ad is very good and does point out that AT&T has a long way to go. I'm not sure why AT&T is that far behind but whatever. I still have great phone service with AT&T, almost no dropped calls and the ability to change phones with the swap of a sim card. Life is good.
